Bus Travel
At St Nicholas Catholic High we operate a bus provision managed by school, not the local authority, which the governors have chosen to subsidise.
This means all requests for places and payments, are made directly to school, including for students who are eligible for travel assistance from their local authority.
We expect the same high standards of behaviour and discipline on our buses as we do in school and parents are expected to sign to a travel agreement as a condition of use.

There are five bus routes.
- Purple Route – Winsford/Whitegate (Selwyn’s)
- Yellow Route – Winsford/Wharton/Moulton/Davenham (Selwyn’s)
- Blue Route – Middlewich/Rudheath (Selwyn’s)
- Green Route – Helsby/Frodsham (Selwyn’s)
- Red Route – Warrington/Wincham/Kingsmead (Walkers)
Places must be registered in advance of each new academic year.
For Year 7’s joining in September, instructions for requesting a place will be sent out.
