Mission Day
Next week our students will be taking part in our Mission Day with the theme of Everyday Servant. Our Gospel values for this term are Humility and Gentleness, and together with the Mission Day theme, these give us qualities that are much needed in our present climate. There is a continuing need for people who are willing to consider and care for others and this is very much at the heart of our Catholic Ethos. We are looking forward to a rewarding and reflective day.
Mission Day at St Nicholas Catholic High School.
Thursday 1st July 2021
On Thursday 1st July the school day at St Nicholas will look and feel very different as the students will be taking part in our Mission Day.
In their form groups the different year groups will be exploring topics such as Gospel Values, community, careers, well-being and consent.

The timings of the school day will stay the same.

Business Studies
Could you help us?
Here in the Business Studies department, we are keen to make links with the world outside of school and meet entrepreneurs/business experts! If you feel you or a colleague might be able to appear in one of our 20-minute Business Masterclasses (via Microsoft Teams,) please email a.senior@st-nicholas.cheshire.sch.uk
Previous talks have included topics on marketing, finance, operations and human resources and you are free to talk about an area of Business which is your choosing.
 Challenge 21 project
Attempt a challenge 21 times, over 21 days.
We have introduced the Challenge21 this week and we hope that there are some great ideas and actions taking place at home and in school. We would love to see how our students are getting on with their challenges, so please do email photos and reports to Challenge21@st-nicholas.cheshire.sch.uk. If you are able to support their challenges with sponsorship, donations for the PTFA can be made through your parent pay account.

Water Bottles

It is important that all students bring a water bottle to school every day, especially during the summer months.

Bottled water is available from the canteen and water bottles can be refilled during the day.

Students are reminded to refill their bottles at break and lunchtime so that there is no detriment to learning time.
