A prayer to share
The Jubilee Prayer
Father in heaven,
may the faith you have given us
in your son, Jesus Christ, our brother,
and the flame of charity enkindled
in our hearts by the Holy Spirit,
reawaken in us the blessed hope
for the coming of your Kingdom.
May your grace transform us
into tireless cultivators of the seeds of the Gospel.
May those seeds transform from within both humanity and the whole cosmos
in the sure expectation
of a new heaven and a new earth,
when, with the powers of Evil vanquished,
your glory will shine eternally.
May the grace of the Jubilee
reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope,
a yearning for the treasures of heaven.
May that same grace spread
the joy and peace of our Redeemer
throughout the earth.
To you our God, eternally blessed,
be glory and praise for ever.
Amen
Year 7 Residential to Whitemoore Lakes
Last week 200 students and staff set off to Staffordshire for the Year 7 Residential.
Whitemoore Lakes was the perfect location for a fantastic trip. It was wonderful to see the students thriving and having fun as they took part in the many varied activities across the purposebuilt site.
Year 7 challenged themselves with various high ropes activities such as climbing, gladiator and abseiling, used their brains and concentration in archery, buggy building and the Enigma room, learnt new skills fencing and went on the water in canoes for challenges, games and a fair amount of splashing!

Year 10 and Year 12 Work Experience
Well done to all our amazing Year 10s and 12 who did their work experience last week.
We already have some absolutely amazing feedback from employers coming in about how well our students have shown themselves and that they are an absolute credit to the school – one has even been offered an apprenticeship!
Thank you to all students for your hard work and to all employers who helped us out and offered placements.
