Last Friday, our Year 11 students celebrated their Prom at Vale Royal Abbey, and what a wonderful evening it was. We are incredibly proud of our students and the way they marked the end of their time with us.

The venue provided a stunning setting for a memorable night filled with laughter, friendship, and celebration. It was a fitting way to recognise all that this year group has achieved.

A huge thank you goes to our PTFA and the amazing Year 11 team, whose hard work, dedication, and attention to detail made the event such a success. Their efforts ensured that our students enjoyed a truly special evening that they will remember for years to come.

After meeting author Sophie Jo at The Storyhouse, we decided to add more of her novels and some of her recommendations to our to our acquisitions list.

Cringe Club by Emily-Jane Clark is written entirely in text messages so is nice and accessible for anyone who finds reading a challenge.

We have also picked up a lovely Dianna Wynn Jones Box set and some more titles of a firm favourite of the lower school … Dog Man.

For students taking on the 16 before 16 challenge, we have bought some extra copies of some of the titles on the list.

And finally, to please the masses, we now have volume 3 – 5 of Demon Slayer, volume 6 – 10 of Tokyo Ghoul and Volume 4 – 6 of Toilet-bound Hanako-kun.

Trampolining Success

Well done to Tilda and Peyton – they have both qualified for the level 3 English Trampoline finals in July in both the individual and synchro categories. Tilda is also going to trampoline regional finals next month representing the Northwest.

Brilliant achievements – well done to you both!

Cleaner Vacancy

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable cleaner to provide an effective and efficient service in helping to maintain student facilities to an excellent standard within school.

10 hours per week, 43 weeks per year (Term-time plus 4 weeks during the school holidays).
Shift to start after 3.30pm
