Message from our Chaplain Mairie

It has been lovely welcoming everyone back into St Nicholas and especially welcoming Year 7 students to their first year with us. It has been remarkable seeing how well they have settled in already. For everyone, this is the promise of our first, for a long time, year free of all restrictions. I’m sure we fully intend to take every advantage as we support our students in becoming the best that they can be. I especially am looking forward to welcoming students into the newly decorated chapel, during lessons and during the drop-in opportunities at break and lunch.

Gracious God,
we come to you at the beginning of this academic yearwith our many feelings, expectations, fears and hopes.Help us to remember, however,
we have the comforting
assurance from you:
“I will always be with you.”
St Nicholas Award.

The aim of the St Nicholas Award is to continue to build a sense of community around our Gospel Values and to encourage all students to act in the ‘spirit’ of St Nicholas. In doing this, all positive behaviour will continue to be celebrated around school.

Having been nominated by staff and chosen by a Rewards Panel, students will receive a  badge that can be worn on their blazer. In addition, their name will be displayed on a new award board in our main reception area this term.

We would like to congratulate all the winners on this fantastic achievement.
