A prayer to share

 O loving God,
You are the source of all wisdom and truth.
As we go through my studies and prepare for my exams,
calm our minds and hearts.
Help us to remember all that we have learned,
to think clearly and answer wisely.
Take away anxiety and replace it with peace and confidence.
Bless our efforts, our teachers, and each other.
Holy Mary, Our Lady, Mother of God,
be with us in this time of stress and challenge.
Pray for us, that we may have focus, perseverance, and trust.
Keep us in your care and lead us closer to your Son.
Amen.

A Message from our Chaplain, Mairie

Year 11 Mass
We were delighted to celebrate Mass last week with Year 11 students and their families. This was a lovely opportunity to come together to give thanks for our students and to pray for their perseverance, patience and well-being for the coming exam season. The canvasses prepared by each form shows their gifts and talents and will be in the assembly hall during the exam season to encourage them. Thanks to Fr Paul for celebrating our Mass with us and to Mrs McKenna and the choir for adding their gifts to a lovely evening of prayer and reflection. Thanks also, to everyone who works so hard in school to make these events happen in such a special way

Duke of Edinburgh Training Weekend

Duke of Edinburgh

A huge well done to all participants of the Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards for completing their qualifying expeditions! This is a fantastic achievement and a real testament to their hard work, teamwork and determination. They were a real credit to the school throughout and should be very proud of themselves. It was great to see so many of them finishing with smiles on their faces too—clearly a challenge worth taking on!

Sporting Success

Rugby Success

Winnington Park Rugby Club has successfully completed a fantastic season, culminating in reaching the Cheshire Cup Final. The final took place yesterday, and after a hard-fought match, the team emerged victorious to win the Cheshire Cup.

Several players took part from your school in this achievement, including Brendan Brown and Leo Clarkson.

It was a tremendous team effort and a proud moment for everyone involved.

Football success

Finley Flanagan from year 8 at the weekend captained his football team Preston North End in the EFL National final tournament

The tournament started at the beginning of the season with 52 teams and on Sunday 26/4 they competed in the final at Tottenham Hot Spurs training ground. Unfortunately they didn’t win but they came 3rd which is a massive achievement

Air Cadets

Well done to Macey Randall in year 10 who walked 80 kilometers with her Knutsford Squadron and other Air Cadets last weekend.
The event took place at Cosford Airforce Base and the cadets walked from 6.30am to 4.30pm in full uniform.

Macey said it was hard but fun and great to spend time with her friends.
